Mrs Rigler has been teaching the dancers of Grande Prairie for over 35 years. She has had extensive training at various schools including the National Ballet of Canada. She is a registered teacher with Associate status (ARAD) as well as a Practical Teaching Supervisor and a Silver Swans licensee and Tutor with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and has successfully prepared 100’s of dancers for ballet exams. Mrs Rigler has had the great honour to train, mentor and inspire these students some of whom have gone on to successful dance careers as performers, teachers, school directors and choreographers. As a Practical Teaching Supervisor she works with student teachers to ensure that they are fully qualified to take on the status of Registered teachers for the RAD.

Mrs Rigler continues to expand her knowledge attending courses internationally. She has certified in the Progressing Ballet Technique curriculum as well as Lisa Howell’s Level 1 Dance Teacher and Practitioner Training with Perfect Form Physiotherapy. During the past 2 years she has been participating in courses regarding the psychological aspect of dance training and has incorporated her new knowledge into all of her classes.


Past highlights include being the Co-Choreographer for the ’95 Canada Winter Games, ’00 Alberta Summer Games and the ’03 Arctic Winter Games, adjudicator at various dance festivals and a dance internship program in the public school system (Parkside School).
