Derika grew up dancing just outside of Grande Prairie, training from kindergarten through grade 12 in tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet foundations, and hip hop. She began coaching at 15 and has since continued to teach and choreograph for her home studio, even while living in Edmonton. Passionate about working with children, Derika is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment where dancers can build confidence, refine their technique, and express themselves through dance.
